Time to cut the pieces out for this patchwork quilt. Each Ohio Star is a "block" made up of 9 "squares". In my design, each square runs like this:
1 maroon square (in the center)
4 gold squares
4 combo squares made up of 4 triangles (2 gold, 2 maroon) and measuring 4.5"
I've got 30 Ohio Star blocks in the design, so I need:
30 maroon squares
120 gold squares
120 combo squares - which means 480 triangles (240 gold, 240 maroon)!
The room is spinning now...
630 pieces! And I haven't even got the borders in yet!... Ohh... oh... the room is spinning.....
OooooooooooOOoooooooooooooooooo (thud!)
